Privacy Policy (GDPR)

The protection of your personal data is very important to us.

We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the scope of our website. You can visit our website without providing any personal information. If you use our website for purely informational purposes, i.e., you do not log in, register, place an order, or otherwise transmit information about yourself to us, we do not process any personal data, with the exception of the data that your browser transmits to enable you to visit the website, as well as information that is transmitted to us within the framework of cookies used for the statistical analysis of the use of our website.

Contacting us

If you contact us via a form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the request and in case of follow-up questions until our legal and contractual obligations expire. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

Data Storage

We would like to point out that for the purpose of a simpler shopping process and for later contract processing, the IP data of the connection owner is stored within the framework of cookies. Data such as the name, address, and contact details of the buyer are only stored by us in a secure central computer and used exclusively for order and warranty processing. The data provided by you is required for the fulfillment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you. Data is not transferred to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of address and contact data to the transport company commissioned by us for the delivery of the goods and to our tax advisor to fulfill our tax obligations. After the purchase process is aborted, the data stored by us will be deleted. In the event of a contract being concluded, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years). The data name, address, purchased goods, and date of purchase will also be stored beyond this until the expiry of the warranty period (depending on the warranty period). Data processing is based on the legal provisions of § 96 Abs 3 TKG and Art 6 Abs 1 lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for contract fulfillment) of the GDPR.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit. If you do not wish this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases. When deactivating cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Google Analytics

On our website, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. Google Analytics uses "cookies," which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on our website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities, and to provide other services related to website use and internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. On our website, we use Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()." This means that IP addresses are processed in a shortened form, which excludes the possibility of direct personal reference. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all the functions of our website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of our website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de As an alternative to the browser plug-in, you can click the following link to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on our website in the future. Your Rights

Right to information

You are entitled at any time, within the framework of Art. 15 GDPR, to request confirmation from us as to whether we are processing personal data concerning you; if this is the case, you are also entitled, within the framework of Art. 15 GDPR, to receive information about this personal data as well as certain other information (including processing purposes, categories of personal data, categories of recipients, planned storage period, your rights, the origin of the data, the use of automated decision-making and, in the case of transfer to a third country, the appropriate guarantees) and a copy of your data.

Right to rectification

You are entitled, according to Art. 16 GDPR, to demand that we correct the personal data stored about you if it is inaccurate or incorrect.

Right to erasure

You are entitled, under the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR, to demand that we delete personal data concerning you without delay. The right to erasure does not exist, among other things, if the processing of personal data is necessary for (i) exercising the right to freedom of expression and information, (ii) for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject (e.g., statutory retention obligations) or (iii) for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

Right to data portability

You are entitled, under the conditions of Art. 20 GDPR, to demand that we hand over to you the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, common and machine-readable format.

Right of withdrawal and right to object

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time with effect for the future. You are entitled, under the conditions of Art. 21 GDPR, to object to the processing of your personal data, so that we must stop processing your personal data. The right to object exists only within the limits provided for in Art. 21 GDPR. In addition, our interests may prevent the termination of processing, so that we are entitled to process your personal data despite your objection.

Right to lodge a complaint

You are entitled, under the conditions of Art. 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the GDPR.
